Deities should not have a stat block. There, I said it. Deities are powerful entities with near limitless power and omniscience. You should not be able to kill them. When deities choose to interact with mortals it is often through an avatar, which in itself is an entity of formidable power. As every GM knows, there is always at least one player in the group asking, “How much xp can I get for killing an avatar?” Well, rest easy in that we have that angle covered. Every deity presented in Lore of the Gods comes with an avatar equipped with a stat block. That way when Joe the barbarian does his best Conan impersonation and spits on an avatar, you as the GM can then wipe the floor with him.
